Purpose

The Bible teaches over and over again that we’re to help hurting people. That’s God’s passion. He wants us to enjoy our lives, but He also wants us to remember the poor, the lost and the needy. Sometimes we don’t realize that one person can really make a difference. We can inspire the people around us just by making right choices. And we can change the world through our prayers, our giving, and by reaching out with the love of God to those who are in desperate need. That’s our PURPOSE. God Bless.

so wonderful. I had the opportunity to work at the WNC Rescue Mission this past Saturday for a BBC Love Loud event in Asheville. It was so humbling to realize there are so many homeless people, who are just so grateful just to get a bottle of cold water, a meal, or to have folks “love on” them or just pray for them. It was the first time I had the chance to pray for a total stranger. Even though I thought God couldn’t use ME for such a thing, I was proven so, so wrong. People just need to know that Jesus loves them, no matter what. I was truly so blessed by everyone I had the chance to meet.

There are SO many people that can reach the broken, help those holding on to love, and truly, change the world — one person at a time.

Also — we should be “ONE” body. This is new, just love it!
