How do we know God’s will for us?? Many people desire to do God’s will, but struggle because they don’t KNOW what God’s will is. God has great plans for our lives. He created us for a specific purpose and plan. The most important will is that we have a relationship with Him. He wants us to be disciples for Him. If we didn’t spread the word of God, how would some people know? God promises to give us wisdom if we just ask Him in prayer, believing that He will give it. We should know that there is a peace that comes when we are pleasing God with our lives. The bottom line is that we will not know what God’s will is for us unless we trust in Him and ask Him. Talk to Him–he’s listening and wants to help!
Grace. Grace is getting something we DON’T deserve. God’s unmerited favor. We are offered grace every single day of our lives. Every day we do something that requires a bit of forgiveness–that is God’s grace. It’s something that we cannot do for ourselves but can turn over to Him and rest assured that it will be OK. So, how do we exercise grace? We forgive someone that has wronged us. We practice understanding when it’s not entirely clear why something is done. We support one another and don’t judge for any reason–because that’s not our place. Extend grace when you are able–people will appreciate it. “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5: 1-2 God Bless.
